Distributed energy resources (DERs) present presents promising role in decentralized and decarbonized energy transition. Due to the lack of long-term dataset at high resolution, there is very little work on description analysis of distributed energy system over period of during and after distributed power generators’ lifespan. This work collects a twenty-year period (from 2002 to 2021) of hourly energy generation and consumption profiles from a campus distributed energy system in Japan. Supply-side data comprises of gas consumption of combined heating and power (CHP) units (fuel cell, gas engine), absorption chiller and gas boiler, CHPs energy generation and grid electricity import. Real-life electricity, hot water, space heating and cooling energy consumption profile of individual buildings were collected. The long-term dataset can be applied in various cases, which can help researchers and policymakers acquire comprehensive understandings of energy efficiency of distributed energy system.
