Differential Impacts of Hemin and Free Iron on Amoxicillin Susceptibility

This project focuses on the effects both hemin and free iron can have on amoxicillin susceptibility for ex vivo cultured communities. This data is generated as part of a pipeline allowing for the cultivation of anaerobic microbes from complex communities alongside antimicrobials and metabolic modulators or drugs. This data identified that hemin can protect certain genera from amoxicillin killing while free iron did not have the same effect.
