The Welcome Wagon is a national organization which devotes time to welcoming new residents to communities and integrating them into community activities. Each of the wagons in the pictures represents a sponsor of The Welcome Wagon. The lead wagon represents Examiner sponsorship of the service in Fullerton. Posed in front of the auto pulling the wagon train are Kay Koontz, 16, dressed as a pioneer lady, and her brother, Barry Koontz, 11, dressed as a frontiersman.
