Investigating the Role of Self-Efficacy and Placebo Effects on Metamemory Accuracy: Insights from Experimental Evidence

This dataset supports the findings of the present study, including processed data and relevant variables across cognitive and metamemory measures. It contains all necessary information to reproduce the analyses involving self-efficacy (high vs. low), group (control vs. experimental), and word type (positive, neutral, negative) across five cognitive and metamemory measures: JOL, recall, FOK, recognition, and confidence performance.
