Replication package for the manuscript "Overtaken but overloaded: A moving reporting boundary conceals a capacity crisis in Taiwan's municipal waste account" (Shih-Yung Chiu and Tzu-Chia Wang, Department of Economics, Soochow University). The archive contains everything needed to reproduce every table, figure, and in-text number in the paper and its Supporting Information: - source_data/ — the source workbook compiled from public Ministry of Environment (Taiwan) releases: open-data platform datasets STAT_P_126, STAT_P_128 and STAT_P_46, the Yearbook of Environmental Protection Statistics (Table 4-1), the Resource Circulation annual reports, and plant-level monthly incinerator intake statistics; county covariates are from DGBAS county statistics. Each column is documented sheet by sheet.- panel_v4R.csv — the derived 22-county × 14-year panel (308 rows) used in all regressions.- R/ — the complete analysis chain (scripts 00–24, run in numeric order), including panel construction, verification against the official open-data API, date-blind structural-break detection, county-by-regime fixed-effects estimation with wild cluster bootstrap-t inference (Webb six-point weights, restricted null, seed 20260720, 9,999 replications), the incinerator-outage event study, and all robustness checks.- outputs/ — the frozen CSV outputs from which the manuscript was generated; re-running the chain reproduces them.
