Sediment metagenomes from Owens River, an arsenic-rich freshwater environment in California (USA)

The goal of this study was to investigate the effects of light-dark cycling on arsenic redox transformations and changes within the metagenome. Owens River represents a model environment to investigate the impacts of microbes on the fate and transport of arsenic in fresh-water systems used for drinking water.
