Metagenomic analysis in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand

Shotgun metagenomics was conducted to analyze bacterial communities and pathogens in water and soil samples collected from rice field, SI nawa, Meung Nakhon Nayok, Thailand. A total five samples were collected from two water samples and three soil samples. Two liters of water samples were obtained from the water surface in rice field (NYK_A) and marsh (NYK_B). Soil samples were collected from soil surface nearby rice field, which each point was 5, 10 , and 15 meter in distance from rice fiels. Bacterial DNA was extracted and used for shotgun analysis.
