The Bazimen landslide is located at the estuary of the right bank of Xiangxi River (a tributary of the northern bank of the Yangtze River, which runs north-south at the estuary and is nearly perpendicular to the Yangtze River) in Guizhou Town, Zigui County, Hubei Province, within the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
