资源简介:
This study investigates pathophysiological differences between alcohol‑responsive and alcohol‑resistant essential tremor (ET) using a multimodal neuroimaging design. Participants undergo functional MRI in both a sober (OFF‑alcohol) and low‑dose alcohol (ON‑alcohol) condition, combined with MR‑compatible electromyography and accelerometry to quantify tremor severity during scanning. The study aims to determine whether alcohol responsiveness reflects a distinct neurobiological ET subtype, with a focus on cerebellar activity and cerebello‑thalamo‑cortical network connectivity. The resulting dataset provides high‑resolution neuroimaging and physiological recordings that support research into ET phenotype stratification, biomarker development, and mechanisms of tremor modulation
