Replication data for "Biogeochemistry of methane in Arctic waters: A multiyear synthesis (2014-2022) from the North Atlantic-Arctic sector and Barents Sea"

This dataset presents a compilation of water-column oceanographic and biogeochemical data collected across multiple Arctic Ocean methane seep systems. The data span 28 research cruises conducted over a nine-year period between 2014 and 2022. The dataset captures a gradient of dissolved methane concentrations and methane oxiation. In addition to methane dynamics, the dataset encompasses a suite of core hydrographic, nutrient, and organic matter parameters, including temperature, salinity, density, dissolved oxygen, macronutrients (nitrate, phosphate, silicate, ammonium), organic carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus fractions (DOC, DON, DOP, PC, PN, PP), chlorophyll-a, and stable oxygen isotope ratios.
