Water erosion hazard – hazard levels water erosion (RxKxSxL)

The data set contains data from the LBGR on the hazard levels of water erosion (RxKxSxL) in the state of Brandenburg and is provided via a presentation and download service. The data set Hazard Levels shows the spatial distribution of the potential soil erosion hazard from water on the agricultural land of Brandenburg. The determination was based on DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773), the underlying method of which is referred to as the General Soil Ablation Equation (ABAG). The erosion hazard is represented in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential risk of erosion from water results from the classification of potential soil erosion at hazard levels. The potential soil erosion by water results from the combination of the rain erosion factor R, the soil erosion factor K, the slope slope factor S and the slope length factor L. The hazard is indicated in seven stages from 0 (no hazard) to 6 (extremely high hazard).
