Sugarcane aphid (SCA), Melanaphis sacchari, (Zehntner.), has emerged as a major pest of sorghum since its outbreak in 2013. To understand the genetic mechanism of resistance, a transcriptional study was conducted in resistant, (Tx2783) and susceptible (BTx623) genotypes infested with SCA at four-time points (3-, 6-, 9- and 12-dpi).
