Zika virus strain PRVABC59 Sequencing

Here, we sequenced a ZIKV stock, strain PRVABC59, used for inoculation. The virus was originally isolated from a traveler to Puerto Rico and underwent three passages on Vero cells and two rounds of amplification on C6/36. A pregnant rhesus macaque was infected subcutaneously with 1x10^4 PFU of this ZIKV stock in the first trimester of gestation.
