Rumen metagenome sequencing of Holstein cattle of 1-4 parity

To explore the microbial diversity in the rumen of Holstein dairy cows with parity 1-4, we collected rumen fluid from first-parity (N=10), second-parity (N=6), third-parity (N=9), and fourth-parity (N=8) lactating cows by oral intubation for metagenomic sequencing. This project stores the raw data set obtained after metagenomic sequencing of the above rumen samples.
