VPRS 7290 Index to Birth Registers

This series comprises indexes (hard copy, P3 consignment) to birth registers created during the period 1853 to 1983. The hard copy indexes were replaced by computer generated microfiche indexes in ?1984 which in turn was replaced by Lifedata, the computerised system of indexing in 1989. Microfiche copy of the index for the period 1853 to 1913 has been transferred as P1 and P2 consignments of this series.This series provides access to entries in VPRS 8341 Birth Registers, Victoria.The following information is provided:- Surname- Christian name- Fathers name- Mothers maiden name- Birth place.
