This dataset was developed through scientifically rigorous experiments conducted in accordance with the task requirements, yielding genomic sequencing data. It is utilized to identify variations in egg morphology, investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying gene regulation of egg type formation and maintenance, explore the upstream and downstream regulatory pathways of relevant genes as well as potential signaling pathways involved in egg morphogenesis, and clarify the biochemical metabolic regulation and inter-group differences between drifting eggs and adhesive eggs in cyprinid fishes.
