Fu’s Fs: A negative value of FS is evidence for an excess number of alleles, as would be expected from a recent population expansion or from genetic hitchhiking. A positive value of FS is evidence for an deficiency of alleles, as would be expected from a recent population bottleneck. Statistical significance: Not significant, P>0.02. Tajima’s D: A negative Tajima’s D signifies an excess of low frequency polymorphisms relative to expectation. A positive Tajima’s D signifies low levels of both low and high frequency polymorphisms.
