Our study focuses on understanding how Rbf impacts the formation of flight muscles in Drosophila. We analyzed by RNA-seq the transcriptional changes dependent on Rbf in proliferating adult muscle precursors and in mature flight muscles at two different stages of Drosophila development Total RNA was extracted at two different developmental stages: notum tissues from third instar larval wing discs, which contains adult muscle precursors, and the flight muscles of pharate flies. Total RNA libraries were made and followed by sequencing. The following two genotypes were compared at these two developmental stages: WT and Rbf-conditional knockdown using Mef2-Gal4 driver and UAS-Rbf-RNAi. Three replicates were done for notum tissue and two replicates for flight muscles
