Fungal ITS2 amplicons in boreal forest soils. soil metagenome

In this project we have used Pac Bio sequencing of ITS2 amplicons to analyse fungal community composition in organic soil profiles of 8 coniferous old-growth forest sites situated in nature reserve Fiby Urskog in central Sweden. The sites were selected to represent a fertility gradient based on differences in understory vegetation composition and dominant tree species.
