资源简介:
A subset of individuals with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) experience persisting post-concussion symptoms (PPCSs) which may interfere with the return to activities, causing stress for months and sometimes years after injury. PPCSs are influenced by a range of factors, necessitating multi-modal treatment. Developed as part of this thesis, i-RECOveR, an interdisciplinary intervention which combines neuropsychology, physiotherapy, and medical treatments, was evaluated in 15 adults with mTBI. Findings provide insights into the complex and multifactorial nature of PPCSs and provide support for the feasibility of i-RECOveR, underscoring the potential benefit of coordinated treatments in reducing PPCSs and contributing to goal attainment.
