Citizen survey — structural features (Linz)

On 2011-07-07, the Stadtsenat decided on a new citizen survey, which was carried out from the end of September 2011 by the Stadtforschung Linz. As in the 2004 Citizens’ Survey, 45,000 Linz voters were invited to participate. In total, more than 9,100 people responded. The aim of the survey was to get the opinion of the Linz population on various topics, to find out their wishes and concerns. This gives policy and administration an essential basis for future decisions. The Citizens’ Survey was conducted for the first time in 2011 in the form of an Internet survey. The answers to the individual questions are presented in a differentiated manner according to the structural characteristics of gender, age, professional position and school education.”
