Characterization of microbial composition from Aedes albopictus breeding

This study generates initial catalogue of the bacterial taxa (Phyla, families, genera and species) present at the breeding sites of European Aedes albopictus and in their immature stages in relation toncharacterized breeding sites. A comparison of the microbiota associated to breeding sites, and an evaluation of the possible relationship between the microbiota of Aedes albopictus breedingsites and immature stages with the glycogen and lipid contents of the pupae are generated in this study.
