We investigated the importance of thermal regime during parental sexual maturation and offspring rearing on the offspring methylome in brook charr. Parents were split between warm and cold environments, mated in controlled breeding designs, then offspring from each family were split between warm and cold environments. We showed that parental temperature was the main factor driving offspring methylation state.
