Conjugative Probiotic (COP) resistant Mutant Sequencing

The Conjugative Probiotic (COP) system is a microbiome engineering tool that delivers CRISPR-Cas9 by conjugation to target bacteria. In most case, cleaving the chromosome of the target bacteria resulted in death. However, in some rare cases, some target bacteria acquired the COP plasmid selection marker, but survived. Here, we present the sequencing of 32 COP resistant mutants with the relevant sequencing controls.
