Waste Characterization and Stochastic Analysis
收藏资源简介:
This is the first public release of the Waste Characterization and Stochastic Analysis. The repository provides a curated database and stochastic characterization of thermophysical and compositional properties of municipal solid waste (MSW). Literature-derived measurements are compiled and used to generate probability density functions (PDFs) through hierarchical statistical aggregation and large-scale Monte Carlo sampling. Contents of this release include: • Raw literature-based database of waste material properties • Reference index linking all measurements to their original sources • Precomputed probability density functions (PDFs) for key waste properties • Stochastic distributions for main waste groups (Paper, Organic, Plastic, Inert) • Derived distributions for representative waste mixtures (Baseline, S1–S3) • Python scripts used to generate the stochastic distributions • Visualization notebook for inspecting and comparing the PDFs Property categories included in the dataset: Proximate Analysis (PA) Moisture content Volatile matter Fixed carbon Ash Elemental Analysis (EA) Carbon (C) Hydrogen (H) Nitrogen (N) Sulfur (S) Oxygen (O) Chlorine (Cl) Thermophysical Properties (TPP) Density (ρ) Thermal conductivity (k) Heat capacity (cp) Higher heating value (HHV) The dataset is intended to support reproducible and uncertainty-aware modeling of waste properties for experimental studies and numerical simulations of waste conversion processes.
