This dataset is a record of new geological and geomorphological relationships established on Macquarie Island (54:38.S, 158:53.E), as per ANARE Research Notes 39: The geology and geomorphology of Macquarie Island with special emphasis on heavy metal trace element distribution.This study was undertaken between October 1983 and October 1984 and was specifically designed to provide information on a number of topics not fully covered by earlier research.
