Single-cell transcriptomic analysis of expanded adult human pancridia cells

This study investigates the transcriptomic characteristics of expanded adult human pancreatic cells, termed pancridia cells, collected during islet isolation procedures. Using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) on the 10x Genomics platform, we profiled islet pancridia cells (IPCs), which give rise to IPC clusters and differentiate into insulin- and glucagon-producing islet organoids. This submission includes raw FASTQ files generated from these experiments and supports the discovery of regenerative subtypes within expanded adult islet tissue, providing a foundational reference for the development of islet cell replacement therapies.
