This record is the current safe release surface for an ongoing project to turn older, mostly public-domain mathematics and physics manuscripts into modern LaTeX-based editions. It is a cleanup-hold version: the earlier v11 working corpus files are intentionally not copied forward because a follow-up audit found modern publisher and collected-edition apparatus in direct PDFs and artifact ZIPs. Why this version exists: the project distinguishes public-domain underlying papers from modern publisher packaging. Modern collected-work title pages, publisher prefaces, ISBN/copyright pages, exact collected-edition organization, and generated running headers copied from those editions are held until removed. The public-domain papers can return as coherent per-paper/per-work units after stripping or replacement with cleaner witnesses. Release policy from v12 onward: top-level PDFs must be clean LaTeX reader PDFs; scans/reference PDFs belong inside per-work artifact ZIPs; artifact ZIPs must not preserve modern publisher apparatus. The next content-bearing version should add back rebuilt public-domain units after display QC and publisher-apparatus audits. Use of this version: download the audit/status files to see exactly which v11 slugs were hard-held or marked for context review. Do not treat earlier working files as polished public editions.
