This dataset was prepared for the workshop "2D and 3D Forest Fire Fuel Quantification and Vegetation Inventory Mapping Using Drone and Airborne Lidar Systems." It contains RPAS-based lidar and RGB data acquired using the DJI Zenmuse L1 sensor, supported by airborne lidar and field measurements. The data are used to demonstrate methods for forest-structure and fire-fuel analysis, including ground points classification, 3D individual tree segmentation, and calculation of tree height, crown base height (CBH), canopy fuel load (CFL), and canopy bulk density (CBD). All datasets were collected by the ARTeMiS Lab under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Hopkinson, with supporting field measurements provided by Dr. Laura Chasmer’s research group.
