Using Visual Cue and Explanatory Feedback to Enhance Human Phishing Detection - Replication Package

The replication package consists of the questionnaire and related materials:<b>Questionnaire Folder</b>: Contains five PDFs:<b>demographic.pdf</b>: Includes demographic questions to gather information about participants.<b>Task-1.pdf</b>: Contains 10 emails and asks whether each email is phishing or not.<b>Task-2.pdf</b>: Contains the same 10 emails as Task-1 but with highlighted text, asking whether each email is phishing or not.<b>Explanatory_feedback.pdf</b>: Provides explanations for why the 10 emails in Task-1 and Task-2 are phishing or non-phishing.<b>Task-3.pdf</b>: Contains 10 new emails and asks whether each email is phishing or not.<b>Task1_Emails Folder</b>: Contains 10 emails (5 phishing and 5 non-phishing) used in Task-1.<b>Task2_Emails Folder</b>: Contains the same 10 emails as Task-1, but with highlighted text, used in Task-2.<b>Task3_Emails Folder</b>: Contains 10 new emails (5 phishing and 5 non-phishing) used in Task-3.<b>User_study_response.xlsx</b>: Contains the actual responses from the participants. The sheets Form Responses 1, Form Responses 2, Form Responses 3, Form Responses 4, and Form Responses 5 correspond to the demographics questionnaire, Task-1 questionnaire, Task-2 questionnaire, explanatory feedback, and Task-3 questionnaire, respectively.<b>visual_cue_in_phishing_detection.py</b>: Contains our analysis of participants' responses.<b>Separate user study: </b>This folder contains the questionnaire and response sheets from the follow-up user study with 15 participants comparing email sets.
