The whole genome of Salvia miltiorrhiza

We performed the whole genome sequencing of Salvia miltiorrhiza, which is distributed in Sichuan province (China). Salvia miltiorrhiza (SC) has small flower organs and does not produce seeds in natural state. However, its phenolic acid content is much higher than that in other regions.
