The study aims at describing the phyllosphere bacterial communities along the vertical gradient in the canopy of tropical tree and to infer the relative role of the tree species and the environment (variations in irradiance, temperature and humidity) on the composition of epiphytic and endophytic leaf bacterial communities. It aims also at quantifying the processes which drive their assembly.
