Alpha-hemolysin from Staphylococcus aureus alters gene expression profiles in human primary Th1 cells.

To investigate how alpha-hemolysin influences the transcriptome of human Th1 lymphocytes, we performed RNA sequencing. CD4+ primary cells obtained from human donors were differentiated into Th1 cells over a five-day period in the continuous presence of 75 ng/mL alpha-hemolysin. After differentiation, cells were harvested and total RNA was extracted for sequencing library construction.
