Data_urban_hab_sel.csv

The ‘Data_urban_occurrence.csv’ shows the number of observations per urban area (defined by urban morphological zones) separately for mountain hares, European hares, and European rabbits in Sweden. Data were obtained from the GBIF database (GBIF.org (21 March 2022) GBIF Occurrence Download https://doi.org/10.15468/dl.du6h5m). The data show the size of each urban area, mean latitude and longitude, altitude, temperature of the coldest quarter, precipitation, soil sand content and proportion of land covers for each urban area in Sweden. The ‘Data_urban_hab_sel.csv’ show citizen observations (use = 1) of the three lagomorphs and random positions (use = 0) within urban areas of Sweden. The data show the latitude, longitude, year and month of each observation. Moreover, they show urban area size, altitude, soil sand content, land cover type, and the presence or absence of European hares and rabbits.
