Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 (GBD 2021) Fertility Estimates 1950-2021 and Forecasts 2022-2100

The Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 (GBD 2021), coordinated by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), estimated the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors for 204 countries and territories and selected subnational locations. This dataset provides annual estimates for age-specific fertility rate (ASFR), total fertility fate (TFR) and live births for 1950-2100. Data sources used to produce the estimates came from 8709 country-years of vital and sample registrations, 1455 surveys and censuses, and 150 other sources.
