Crops of Mandla, India: Dataset on crops and their nutritional profiles

The data lists out the crops of the multifunctional landscape of India which was compiled through HOLPA surveys and was further updated through personal observations and a bilateral project on agrobiodiversity index. The nutritional profile of the crops were compiled using the The Indian Food Composition Table, 2017. Using this data we aim to understand the how the crop diversity contributes to the nutritional security of the region. Methodology:The data was collected using a questionnaire survey known as HOLPA survey https://hdl.handle.net/10568/168908. The database was further updated by carrying out year round field surveys, personal observations and farmer interviews.
