The ASP dataset consists of 80 sermons by Augustine, with their parallel structures annotated by experts. The PSE dataset is derived from the mock exam essays of Chinese high school students, with parallel structures marked by two annotators. Both datasets are employed for rhetorical parallelism detection, which aims to understand and simulate the structure, meaning and intent conveyed by humans via natural language processing technologies.
