Ecological strategies and functional structure of bryophytes across environmental and spatial gradients in the Caatinga, Brazil

This folder contains all supplementary materials for this study. The files include spreadsheets with the raw data and detailed outputs from the statistical analyses.
The material is organized into the following files:
SD1 – List of species organized by locality: a list of species recorded in each of the 52 sampling localities.SD2 – Functional matrix: the functional trait matrix for each species.SD3 – Environmental and spatial matrix: the matrix containing environmental and spatial variables for each grid cell.SD4 – Community matrix: the community matrix showing species occurrence by grid cells.SD5 – Script: the complete R script used for all statistical analyses performed in this study.SD6 – List of species: a comprehensive list of all 450 taxa originally included in the dataset, before the exclusion of those lacking functional trait information.SD7 – Functional Entities Results: the results from the functional entity analysis, including the traits that define each entity, the species belonging to them, and their respective counts.SD8 – Functional Entities Alpha Indices: the alpha diversity indices calculated for functional entities within each grid cell.SD9 – Statistical Results (Spearman Correlation, Funspace, RLQ, and Fourth-Corner): the complete outputs from the Spearman’s correlation, Functional Space (Funspace), RLQ, and Fourth-Corner analysesSD10 – GLM Results: the complete outputs from the Generalized Linear Models.
