NETTAG+ data set on microbial communities and bacterial strains from an in situ experiment

This dataset refers to the data collected under the projets NetTag and NetTag +, related to a one-year in situ experiment employed inside a recreational marina (port of Leixões, Portugal), using 3 types of plastic fishing nets (Braided Polyethylene (PE), Braided Nylon and Thin Nylon) submersed in the seawater. This data set includes the raw data associated with the article in Scientific Reports "Microbial communities associated with plastic fishing nets: Diversity, potentially pathogenic and hydrocarbon degrading bacteria " This dataset complies the following data: Raw 16S amplicon sequencing data of the microbial communities data (27 samples; fastq.gz files) - also deposited in the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) (Study accession number PRJEB62111). 16R rRNA consensus sequences of the isolated bacterial strains ("16S_isolates_in situ.fasta" file) Excel file with ASV abundance and taxonomy tables, and supplementary data (Tables with Phylogenetic identification of bacterial strains, environmental parameters, inorganic nutrients levels and others)
