Dry spells in Ghana: Joint geospatial impact assessment

In this joint rapid geospatial analysis, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research/International Water Management Institute utilized satellite imagery to assess the impact of the dry spell on agricultural livelihoods and to assess the priority areas impacted by drought in Ghana. This StoryMap provides an initial picture of the likely impact of the drought on agriculture. The objective of this StoryMap is to help focus subsequent geospatial and field assessment work in Ghana.
