a) Recording and quantitative investigation of violent protest actions; b) Correlation of the results with socioeconomic parameters (price development, degree of industrialization and urbanization). Topics: a) place of protest (city, district, administrative district) source and frequency of reporting, start and length of protest, magnitude of protest territory affected and object of attack, magnitude of counteraction, number of injured/dead/arrested/accused/convicted, type of property damage, type and composition of protest formation and counteraction, armament, construction of barricades, type of symbols, triggering factors, government reaction, immediate consequences; b) Time series: population development according to cities 1816-1905 in 3-year intervals; degree of urbanization and industrialization according to administrative districts 1816-1910. a) Erfassung und quantitative Untersuchung von gewalttätigen Protestaktionen; b) Korrelation der Ergebnisse mit sozioökonomischen Parametern (Preisentwicklung, Industrialierungs- und Urbanisierungsgrad).
