Neuroendocrine lineage commitment of small cell lung cancers can be leveraged into p53-independent non-cytotoxic therapy

Murine SCLC (small cell lung cancer), F1339 cells were used to test Dnmt1 localization at the proximal promoters of Ascl1 target genes and if we remove Dnmt1 by using its non-cytotoxic inhibitor, decitabine the neuroendocrine lineage differentiation genes are active leading to differentiation. We performed Cut & Tag and RNA-Seq analysis to prove it.
