This directory includes the final netCDF grids of cyclone-associated rainfall used for Pepler and Dowdy (2021), on a common 1 degree grid<br>Filenames specify the model, member, scenario, and time period. "cv1var" means that intensity thresholds were chosen to give the same number of cyclones as using a Laplacian of 1 in ERA5, with threshold specified for each model in Supplementary Table S1.<br>There are three netCDF files for each dataset:- *Q99* includes arrays for the total number of cyclone days, the total associated cyclone rainfall, and the number of days above the local 99th percentile- *Q99.7* additionally includes the number of days above the local 99.7th percentile- *Above1mm* includes the number of cyclone days, the number of cyclone days with at least 1mm of rainfall, and the total rainfall accrued across days with at least 1mm of rainfall.<br>Each file has 4 dimensions - latitude, longitude, time (month of the year, 1-12), and type (1: No cyclone, 2: Deep cyclone, 3: Shallow surface cyclone, and 4: Shallow upper cyclone)<br>IMPORTANT NOTE: These files are the TOTAL across the years included (1979-2005 for historical, 2070-2099 for rcp4.5/rcp8.5). To compare between periods, they need to be divided by the number of years (27 for historical, 30 for rcp4.5/rcp8.5) <br>Code to produce and analyse this data is available at XXXX
