We demonstrate that tumor-intrinsic ceramide metabolism is crucial in initiating colorectal cancer (CRC) metastasis, a process further enhanced by dietary fat intake Overall design: Basp1-eGFP-DTR; AKP-tdT organoids were generated and then injected orthotopically into mouse colon. The primary tumors were collected and digested and GFP-positive and GFP-negative populations were sorted by FACS.
