Barcoding Herpetofauna of central Louisiana and other areas

This project is the result of DNA barcoding specimens from an expedition to collect amphibians and reptiles from central Louisiana by Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History associates. We also include amphibians and reptiles from other areas in eastern North America to enhance the DNA barcode library for amphibians and reptiles.This NCBI BioProject contains DNA barcode records that were generated with support from the federally-funded Smithsonian Institution DNA Barcode Network.
