Metabarcoding of gut samples from scavenging amphipod from the Arctic

Associate to the publication: The sinking dead: Arctic deep-sea scavengers' diet suggests nekton as vector in benthopelagic coupling. The aim was to assess diversity of deep sea food falls through gut analyses of abundant scavengers. Gut samples from the amphipod Eurythenes gryllus were analysed by metabarcoding with universal metazoan primers: COI and 18S primers.
