BA71ΔCD2-vaccinated animals show low or undetectable levels of BA71ΔCD2 in submandibular lymph node cells.

Submandibular lymph node cells from control or BA71ΔCD2-vaccinated (106 pfu) pigs were obtained three weeks after vaccination. Cells were left untreated (Mock) or stimulated in vitro for 16 hours with BA71ΔCD2 (positive control) prior DNA extraction and qPCR for the detection of ASFV. Results are shown as ASFV GEC/106 cells.
