IPN-UAN-23: A Dataset of Real Network Traffic with Embedded Malware Interactions from a University Honeynet

This dataset contains approximately 13 GB of curated PCAP files generated by an automated honeynet platform deployed on a live university network. Each file represents a complete interaction session of a cyber attack, with embedded active malware samples including Mirai botnet traffic, trojans, ransomware, and downloaders. The dataset is intended for research in encrypted traffic analysis, malware detection, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Due to the presence of active malware and potential exposure of sensitive network information from a production environment, access is restricted. Researchers may request access for academic purposes via the Zenodo platform, subject to a data use agreement.
