Dataset for "Satellite reentry predictions during Sudden Stratospheric Warmings" in Space Weather

The NetCDF files contain global 4-D (time, height, latitude, longitude) neutral mass density fields (rho, in kg m⁻³) from SD-WACCMX simulations for 2009 and 2023. Each file covers January 1–February 28, including the SSW period, with hourly resolution and 46 vertical levels (110-200 km). The data capture the modeled thermospheric response to SSW-related lower-atmosphere forcing and are used to assess density variations relevant to satellite reentry.
