Dataset for Pipelle versus Karman manual vacuum aspiration in office endometrial biopsy: randomized noninferiority trial

This repository contains deidentified participant level data and supporting documentation for a single center randomized controlled noninferiority trial comparing Pipelle and No. 5 Karman cannula manual vacuum aspiration for office endometrial biopsy. The primary outcome was the rate of insufficient nondiagnostic pathology specimens. Secondary outcomes included procedure related pain assessed with visual analog scale, severe pain, procedure time, and complications recorded through discharge. All procedures used standardized paracervical block analgesia and a prespecified sampling technique. Files include the dataset, a data dictionary describing variables and coding, and a brief README.
